Research on Evidence-based Services and Innovative strategies conducted in ALLIANce and True partnership with Key stakeholders to Improve the lives of children with Developmental disabilities and their families.


At the RESI-ALLIANT KID laboratory we are dedicated to improve the lives of children with brain-based developmental disabilities and their families.

Our work is based on core values of patient-oriented research and knowledge translation.

We are proud to host and partner with a unique parent-advisory group that is actively involved in all of our projects, as well as leading research initiatives with an integrated knowledge mobilization plan.

Our research addresses multiple areas related to pediatric rehabilitation and includes health coaching for children with disabilities and their families, family-centered care, novel interventions to support live transitions and mental health, early interventions, and new methods of healthcare services delivery including the use of telehealth.
